The concept was to create an exciting content for a cylindrical shaped screen and showcase elements that were sold in the Dutch Discoveries store and create a surprise  effect by revealing a Dutch aviator from the past to be teleported into the present.

It speaks for itself sense since we are situated in an airport.

The aviator starts interacting with typical elements from the Netherlands: he becomes a painted Delft Blau pattern, walks towards a windmill, triggers it to become an airplane, then flies it in an animated Van Gogh’s starry night.

We had several challenges in this project such as directing the actor (aviator) explaining how to act as if the 3d element was there and then drawing 60 watercolor paintings of the aviator walking frame by frame (rotoscoping)
